Yesterday afternoon I pushed through the masses at Oxford Street, as all of a sudden something grabbed my attention: Another anti-Israel demonstration? Since the events in Gaza, December and January this year, there’s nothing surprising in a demonstration against Israel. However, even though it was just a table and a couple of people handing out leaflets, I felt something different: I looked at the big banner behind the table calling to boycott Marks & Spencer. I’m a German and I know the history of my country.
One of the women behind the table looked at me saying, “Have you signed already?” I replied, “No.” “You’re speaking with the same voice like certain people in my country 60 years ago.”, I said. She didn’t understand and asked me, “Where are you from?” I said, “I’m from Germany!”- and she seemed to be struck by it. Then I left the place.
It’s not my aim to shock people. I just have my eyes open and all reason for concern when I see things like that. The person obviously wasn’t conscious of what happened around her; or better where she happened to be into. But I speak a clear warning to all those who are involved in activites like that. If you continue doing so, and even convinced to offer help for the Palestinians thereby, don’t burn your fingers for you’re in danger! It’s not the way God chooses to deliver people that are in bondage and suffer percecution. He has a plan with his people Israel, and destiny and purpose for the Palestinians alike. You can see the fulfilment of biblical prophecy infront of your eyes. There loads of verses and whole chapters in the prophetic books of the bible speaking clearly about Israels return and restoration. Trouble comes whenever people don’t understand that or rebel against it.
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. Psalm 2, 1-3 (KJV)
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy? Amos 3, 7
Due to the elections in Israel and the situation in the Middle East in general, you perhaps ask yourself this question. If not, then it may be a witness to you that God, the God of Israel is in charge of the situation and
“… changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” Daniel 2, 21
Benjamin Netanyahu is God’s choice for PM in Israel.
Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory. Isaiah 45, 20-25
“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1, 11.12

“When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.” Psalm 102, 16 (17)
I read in a tract about the events on September 11th written by Tom Hess. It included a call for a donation in order to send the book Let My People Go to half a million Jewish housholds. I read that Aliyah is required to prepare the way for the King of Glory. After I recognized a reference made to Psalm 102, 16 (17), God spoke to me, “This is the time in which you live. Now is the time that I save my people. This is the time of (or for) Jerusalem.”

As I considered fotos belonging to an exposition concerning Israel that my brother and I were about to make as I heard the following, “I am jealous for Jerusalem.”
Birmingham, United Kingdom 29th March 2007
While praying in a church in Birmingham God showed me this word from Hosea 14, 5 saying,
“I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.”

Jerusalem, 2006
While praying in the Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations I saw in a vision a map of France. The picture moved from city to city, altogether cities with Jewish inhabitants. In each city a red pin was pressed in. It started in the north, in Paris and went on to Strasbourg and further southwards to Lyon, Nice and Toulouse. The last city was Marseille and my finger was pierced there and began to bleed.

The Lord has poured out His cup upon France / The King is thrown down to the ground, being pressed down by the bourgeoisie. The Lord has poured out His cup upon France / Every order collapses, nothing remains like it is. Ile – de – France is poured out upon Paris / The Eiffel Tower will collapse, I bring my people back.
This word I had to translate from my mother tongue into English. It is a song which originally has rhymes in it.

Shabbat Shalom!
Question: What ist your message? What kind of news do you have? What is the word you are preaching? Have you seen what God is doing and were counselled by Him? Have you believed His plans or do you judge according to the pattern of this world rather than believing Gods promises? The Torah portion for this Shabbat is dealing with this subject. Two of twelve spies had a judgement of the circumstances according to the Word of God. The others saw the same but judged according to their own strength and their human view of things. Has something ever changed? From your personal walk with God, from EU to UN and from Jews to Gentiles we have the same picture over and over again. To walk in Gods ways, believing His promises for your life, trusting Him to finish what He has began is vitally important and keeps you alive in these times. The situation discribed in the Torah was not a matter of circumstances only but about the practical application of Gods commandments either. From the very first day of Israels deliverance from Egypt it was clear that their goal was to enter the promised land. Therefore we have to know the goal we are heading to. We have to know what is important for God in these days. Jesus makes it very clear by saying,
“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
Joshua and Caleb knew the Word of God, they had seen all the miracles and the signs He had performed. They knew about Gods power and they trusted in Him only. What about us? Do you believe the first part of the vers? The first part of the vers is the reason for us to go and reason enough to trust that we will take the land. So will you be like Joshua and Caleb knowing that God is able or will you be like the twelve other spies having fear or excusing theirselfs, “Well, I don’t think that they will hear me. These people will never convert. O they are too stiff-necked. I believe I’m not called in this part of the world. I’m not called to preach. Don’t be foolish brother it’s too dangerous. We live in other times now …”
Do you know these thoughts? God commanded Joshua and the other prophets very often not to fear. To Him is given all power in heaven and in earth and therefore we shall go. Therfore fear not and preach His word and He will be with you.
Shavu’a tov
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” Habbakuk 2, 1
Shalom,
What a wonderful day. It’s the 60th anniversary of the state of Israel. 1948 the scripture of the prophet Isaiah has begun it’s fulfillment saying,
“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66, 7
It’s a good momet for starting this blog. We’re living in very interesting times and therefore reasonable enough to talk about things that are vitaly important. God, the God of Israel, is faithful and his word is true. He keeps what he promises and this date is only one sign in a long chain of events that the scriptures, the bible, are true. God exists, he is a living God, he speaks and keeps faithful his promises. We’re living in times of restoration, times of shakings, trials and tripulations. The fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies can be seen infront of our very eyes. There is a word, a kingdom …
“And this word of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations and then the end shall come.” Matthew 24, 14
Shophar means trumpet. It’s not an ancient musical instrument. Moreover it is used to warn people or a whole nation, to give a sign that something is nigh at hand. This is the reason for this blog: to blow a trumpet and to share what the Lord is about to do.
“The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?” Amos 3, 8
Watch out!
